Tired of olive green and dunkelgelb, I am in the mood for some post WWII middle eastern armour. Probably something Soviet. Does anyone know of a good colour guide on the net for post WWII mid-east armour? I am thinking of a single, straight sand like colour. This may seem a little strange to be choosing my next model on the basis of colour as much as on the type of tank, but what can I say?

Have a look at Empire City Decals

http://www.empirecitydecals.net/

They make a separate set of decals for T-55 tanks (and can easily substitute a T-62 as well as most of these countries used both), and have lots of different camo markings, many from Middle East countries.

The Tiran looks pretty good. Actually, I do have my eye, however, on Tamiya's M51 Israeli Sherman. I think this is maybe the finest looking Sherman ever. And I am a dyed in the wool WWII modeller who, until recently, has had zero interest in post WWII armour.
