Hey Guys,

I caught this over on SSM -Apparently They are gettin ready to release a Haynes Manual on the Millennium Falcon. I think you can pre-order it on Amazon.

I'm hoping that it's accurate .... Should be cool & will be out just in time for th Falcon G.B. !! ;D

http://www.amazon.ca/Millennium-Falcon-Manual-Corellian-Freighter/dp/0857330969/

There seems to be some debate on wether or not it will be accurate ???

Supposed to be out in November, and can be had through Elm City Hobbies, not for Amazon prices however...LOL But still....$30 not too bad for that book....if it is accurate of course.

The book might be helpful. My YT-1300 has also had some 'special modifications'. I got it from some spice smuggler who claimed it was original and that he was the only owner. Frackin' lying nerf hearder. Seems a Calrissian had it before him, and he made 'special modifications' too. I mean they even gutted the EVA Suit locker and I think they used it for hiding contraband. The whole section smells like spice. Now everytime I finish the calsulations to light speed, the darn thing whines like a stalling Pratt R-2600 then nothing. No light speed. I've gotten it to work a few times by pounding on the console, but I think it might just be a hunk of junk. There's also a bunch of missing panels, and a few in red oxide primer, that he claims are original. Yeah right. I may have to see the book, then decide if it'll be useful or not.

Gundam,

Well. This manual seems right on time for a Freighter such as Yourself. Those Corelian Ships seem a bit temperamental. Hopefully this manual will not disappoint & you can get your Freighter returned back to Show Room Mint Condition !!

I hope there is a section that covers wookie hair removal from the Quadex power core.

i lol when i here acurate how can it be when its only a fiction ship. ?? still a cool ship but i dont want to burst any bubbles :) saying that the book would be cool to own

I hear yah.....always get a kick out of people that complain that a certain ship isn't accurate, or if someone does a mod to a star trek ship (good example is Quaralane's USS Mutara which is a great mod) when it is something that doesn't exist in the first place....not like you can go down the street to the Star Trek War Museum and take pictures of it!!

i second this with even todays Real aircraft, this hobby is not always about being Exact on the money, having fun and making it your own creating is a skill too! i mean Quaralane's work, Scotts work, i think a whole lot of everyones work here can attest, nothing needs to be exact, but fun is what its about man!

and as far as books go, its hard to find a book on anything that is exact... so who cares, its a fun read right?
