Picked this up today for $20.

Any reviews of this kit?

Looks like an older box. Did you open it up? Whats the plastic bits look like?

Yeah, I did a quick google and came up dry for the "A". There are some for the "L" though Scott. Not sure if the kits share parts but maybe??

The main difference is with the engines, but it seems like most of the issues the reviewer encountered were in other areas. I can only assume the rest of the kit is the same. :-\

Any time I read the phrase "experienced model builder" in a review I shudder and think to myself what did I get myself into. That said the chopper looks great.

OK thanks. Yeah I opened it. Not terrible. Fairly basic though. It does have engraved panel lines. Decals for cockpit instruments.
