Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Early fuselage colour question?

I'm about to start the 1:48 scale Tamiya Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Type 21 and wanting to paint it in early type paint scheme. As I prefer to use Vallejo Model Air paints I'm wanting to know what I could use for IJN light Grey (AS-29)?

check the Vallejo website. On the downloads page, they have an equivalency PDF. You might be able to find the Tamiya paint and Vallejos equivalent paint there.

I gave a friend a call after reading your post he uses the same paint so I was able to ask him what he used for that fighter he did a 1/350 carrier group the color he used which is close to IJN grey is Vallejo #987 medium grey. hope that helps.
