Model Conventions

What would one type into the google search bar to find out where any model conventions or shows or any other name they may be, are being held on my immediate area or close by ? Ive never heard of many in our area. Id like to attend a show of this sort. Ive never attended or seen a show of this nature and would be more then interested in checking this out.

Central PA and any type of model!!!!! Very new to the hobby. Only completed one Nascar kit working on my second.

I'm in IPMS USA's Region 2, and the regional shows have been hosted twice in the last couple of years by clubs in New Jersey. But there is also a regular show, MosquitoCon, held by the New Jersey Chapter of the IPMS. Their website is http://www.njipms.org/ MosquitoCon is held in Wayne, NJ, which is Northern New Jersey, but it's easy to get to from PA via the interstates.

For that matter, check out the IPMS USA website, at http://www.ipmsusa.org/ There are several chapters in PA, though the Commonwealth is split between Region 2 and Region 4. I belong to the Delaware Valley Scale Modelers, based in Philly.

Nice The Baron, I have various friends in the Lehigh Valley. All new to this so Ill keep these sites and research them and take action according. Thanks for the valuable info.
