This is the first tank I ever built and the first completed kit in years.
I do have a couple of mid built kits — 1/48 B-17 G and and an Eduard kit — German Fw 190A-8.
I had been out of the hobby for many years but still had/have a small stash. I decided to give a tank a go.20220603_193200.jpg20220604_210326.jpg20220615_130124.jpg20220618_011612.jpg20220618_011453.jpg20220628_120829.jpg20220628_121002.jpg20220706_000206.jpg20220706_140637.jpg20220722_023623.jpg

A couple more photos.
I tried my hand a recreating dents and bullet/ shrapnel damage too.

Awesome work I still have my bulldog about and I mess around with it from time to time experimenting on weathering I think I lost the machine gun unfortunately but this is pretty sweet I like those bullet holes it gives me ideas for something I'm working on, did you heat a metal probe and then poke it into the plastic?

Thank you Docbritifmf.
No hot prob instead I used different sized diamond tips and Dremel on low speed to achieve different sized holes.

Oh that would work to . I figured heat would give it that bent and stretched as if it was hit by a bullet but I think with plastic maybe it doesn't matter

Well, with the dented muffler and fender I used a kitchen torch to soften those parts then mould into place. The headlight guard came out of the box bent up I figured I would use it anyway.

This was my first weathering of any type.
I watched alot of YouTube and still do.
Always room to learn more.

Great work on your tank! Really liked the weathered finish.. btw, I think I have the same FW kit that you're working on, but is a Revell rebox. Good stuff!
