I'm wondering if that was the same crew that flew the helo for the US version of Top Gear where they did something similar but in a small town (not in the desert).

That is the crash that I heard of....it was filming a chase scene for Top Gear Korea in the Arizona desert.

Great the that pilots walked away, could have been much worse, looks like it went in fairly flat and likely the skids absorbed alot of the impact.

Nice to see some of the older attack helos being utilized for something other than they were intended for!
