Painting in order to improve figures

This is purely a painting, BUT the value was it encouraged me to add detail not actually again you see I highlight the eyes with white dots on a model, and I used a reference picture to look for detail,we may not have dragon but lizards a plenty, this sort of exercise can help you improve your model. It was after this painting I updated my dragon model.this baby being the model I worked from

How about showing us the other model you worked from?

Yeah, adding the lights to the eyes really enhances the look of a figure's face.

Sorry she's only in my head, anyway that bustier is so tight I think I suffocate her….and she blinks out….her pixie ears are covered by the hair.
