Phased Plasma rifle in the 40 watt range

this is a kit i started a while ago but i've managed to get back into it again.

so i am pleased to announce that this project is still alive and has moved up into the preliminary painting phase. i have now begun to paint one side of the gun and i still have to mask off areas but as you can see it is starting to look the part.

actually its from the film terminator 2 judgement day, you se a t-800 using one near the start of the film in the final battle with humans.

yep this little puppy is 1:1 scale and is made out of resin, approximately 32 parts and i bought it on ebay and it's damn heavy too !

another little update, i've painted up the other main areas now so all that is left is a little extra detailing and weathering and its ready to go.

term starts to load gun, owner says"hey you can't do that", term raises gun "BLAM BLAM BLAM"
I think that's how it went...could be wrong.....Love that movie. Bill

well i got a 1:1 scale arm and head here waiting for me to open the box and start them and i also have this, the damaged processor chip from the first terminator:

Well i've finally managed to finish this kit, structurally its not the best but i've managed to finish it none the less.

you can now see the weathering and wear and tear on the kit, i'll post more pictures when photobucket stops being a pain in the A$$!
