Very sad news, to us Star Wars (and other sci fi) modelers nearly everything we build came from his mind.

Just read this over at CNN moments ago. He was pretty much responsible for making Lucas billions with his vision. On the other hand Star Wars was a conceptual artists dream gig. The guy is okay in my book. Sleep well Sir.

Very sad news.

I was in Argos yesterday and saw this little kid running around with a Darth Vader mask on. Nice to think how he made so many of us happy in so many little ways.

His beautiful work created some of the most recognisable and iconic images in the world,
He set the bar very very high and to most of us sci-fi builders influences what we build everyday.
