Here is one little plastic model kit that I enjoyed building A LOT ! Only modified the upper leg connection in order to have a better position.

Here is the building and painting result

Didn't want to let it that way, needed to do a base, a little diorama. I took a cap from a Sugar bottle, added things, even other parts from another votoms kits, a skull, and "voila" !

That is also beautiful.....
You should know, that I love mecha/robots/aliens/spacecraft/sci-fi stuff also....and tanks, and war-planes....and stuff. IAnd I really like your work. :)
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks... I build all kind of models but mostly Sci-fi... Did i posted my White Star ? My Destroyed Enterprise..; have to check... :)

Super awesome paint job on that, youli! I love votoms it's one of my favorite animes ever and I enjoy seeing such detail put into a kit like this. I just wish they were more poseable, like gundam.

I suppose the big scale can be poseable, the Bandai kit line certainly do, but I don't like too much articulated mecha in model kit... Too much problem. I have toys for that matter :D (I recommand the max Factory lines, he's an expert and his 1/48 plastic toys are the best, the Takara line, in scale with Micronaut's figures, is huge but not as cool when it comes to cool poses and poseable / action possibilities).

My 1/35 votoms here is still articulated but I will not change his pose since I think this one look great on him :)
And I've got so much more model kit to try other poses... Don't even want to start counting (dozen ?). That's why it look so much easier to build garage kit, and soft vinyl kit for that matter. Building the 1/20 bandai kit must be a joy, somewhat I doubt I could enjoy so much poseable possibilities. :) Look at all those wonderful dioramas about VOTOMS in Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby Magazine. It's AWESOME !
If I had enough space, I would like to build more votoms kit with environnement, will do in the future I hope, 1/35 is sure be a very common scale to work with. :)
Give them a try, it's easy to find it, bought a lot of them on ebay and HLJ (sales). :D
