Just finished this one tonight. I've been working on it for 3 weeks. This is the 1/72 Revell AT-AT built out of the box with the exception of armor plates added to the side of the head. The speeder is the Revell Pocket Easy Kit.

Needless to say, AK Interactive products go a work out on this one.

The base is MDF and high density foam - covered with DAS clay, Woodland Scenics snow, future, spackle, styrofoam.

All in all a fun build. I hope to do another sometime and take more time to accurize the kit.

(These pics look OK on one monitor and overexposed on another. Your mileage will vary. And the base, it's 21.5" x 11.5" X 3.5" overall)

Loving this!
Looks... ahhh, cold, but in a good way ;D
Really like your weathering.
Have you done some pre-shading or are your shadows just AKinteractiverized ?
(I thing I should get a sponsor for coming up with that - AKinteractiverize your model kits TODAY!)
:p

Cheers

Thanks guys. It was a fun one.

Yes, preshaded. Most of the streaking, grime etc... it AK. The black streaks on the main body are airbrushed though.

Scotty that looks great!!! Love the pre-shading on that....it freak'n pops. The skitched snow looks neat. Nice one son, really nice.

Absolutely beautifull Scott, as others have said the pre shading has given it so much depth. Awesome weathering too, not over done. And the snow is great!

A revell AT-AT.. Wow! This dio is HUGE!!!!
And You've once again done a remarkable job, Scott! This is a real show-stoper, nice work!

Yeah actually I'm going to comment on this again because I can't stop looking at it. I've just chucked mine out the window.

LOL. No need for that MJ.

Thanks guys. - Yeah, it's a BIG kit. Like I said earlier, gonna get another and scribe it, fix some areas etc... I have a Fantastic Plastic speeder in 1.72 - it's quite a bit smaller than this one. But, I do find the scale of this one works for this scene.

Oh wow! Very nice job. The weathering is fantastic.

Oh and... brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :)

WOW!!! Looks Incredible!!! You definitely have the hang of the AK effects.

Brilliant work, the snow effect looks sweet, the whole scene is nicely executed.
