For the most part I finished off a pair of Vipers.
The Revell 30th Edition I had put together and painted few years ago, but recently retouched some weathering
The other was the classic version that my brother had stashed away in his closet and forgotten about until this year when he was cleaning it out.
I used the MMI cockpit upgrade kit and male pilot figure. I must say it is a definite improvement over even the new 30th anniversary's added cockpit.
Currently the canopies are not glued on, so they may have shifted in some of the pictures

The only real difference between editions apart from the full cockpit interior and clear canopy is the engines
30th anniversary is on the right. Ribbing is more uniform, thinnner, and more of them
Back plate has different interior details for the engine cans, and different detail on the back plate, especially towards the bottom
30th anniversary edition is on the right
and of course the stands are different. the original one is the unpainted one.
engines and cockpit lit
And some other pictures without a flash to get a better sense of the weathering. I tried not to go to overboard with weathering
Some side by side shots
The decals in the 30th anniversary edition come with tons more options, as well as call signs for Apollo, Starbuck, Boomer and 2 or 3 others. Plus it comes with cylon kill marks and markings for Pegasus crews.
I used the call name from the 30th anniversary edition to get Apollo's call sign and flight display in the cockpit.
