I knew there was a reason I didn't bother much with Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc... Instead I practiced on a REAL guitar.

Now, if you don't play and always wanted to. Great time to start! And if you do play and consider yourself in the beginner, intermediate and even advanced skill level there are numerous great things about this game.

The XBox360 was for the "kids"...

It looks pretty interesting but I was wondering is it only for guitar, or can you play bass as well with it?

The currently seems to only support 6-string guitar, standard tuning. There is a multi-player option, but I believe it's for rhythm & lead sadly.

I've been impressed with how well it works (detecting chords, notes, bends, etc). I guess what comes next is going to depend on how popular the game becomes.
