Hey fellow addicts, this is a 1/72 scale Dragon kit. Model was built stock.
Spare tracks are scratchbuilt, and storage added from spares box.

The figures are a mixture of Pegasus, Revell, and Hasagawa.
Painted with Vallejo acrylics.

Not too bad considering the scale of the model and figs. The one thing that does bother me, or rather does not look right, is the vegetation. They are too tall and too far apart. Other than that I like this little dio, shows action.

Thanks guys. just to clarify this piece is about 4 years old. I dusted it off
and posted it because I liked the way the dynamic action of the composition
turned out. (trickier to do in the small scales...believe it or not).
And I totally agree with the height of the vegetation concern, but thankfully
my skill set with regard to that has improved since then.
HAPPY MODELLING!

Yeah, I sometimes wonder how people build 1/72 armor so convincingly. Hard enough time with 1/35.

Then again some people look at me funny when building 1/144 aircraft, so I suppose it is the same thing.

Looks good!!

Thanks Elm City Hobbies,
I like working with 1/72, the challenge is to create the same amount of detail
as in a 1/35. The true advantage is space economy in the finished piece.
With 1/35 dios, you eventually run out of display space.
One question ECH, Do you use an Optivisor to work on your 1/144 planes?
I see myself eventually having to use one. Old age stalks us all!!!
Thanks again ECH, and HAPPY MODELING!!

HAHA, I have one, but not yet. Have had to use it on some tiny 1/35 PE, but not to build 1/144 aircraft.

Eduard has just released a couple of their Mig-21s in 1/144.....and now they are bringing out PE for the kits.

PE in 1/144?? That is insane. Think I will pass on those!

Nice job on this one PzMan!! yeah...1/72...not gonna happen!!! At least in armor!! ;D
