And I did the transparrent blue with me new christmas airbrush :D

Nice one Dave, but you forgot to colour the outside nacelle grilles black...!

Merry xmas dude, enjoy your new airbrush...painting your models will never be the same again

there are a few bits to still do, but with all those decals...............

I WAS SICK OF THE SIGHT OF IT!

ive lost 2 of the decals too, and 1 of them is the impulse engine grills ::)

but yes, and i did all the clear blue with the badger, and im really happy with the results!

Looks sharp.
And I feel your pain on those decals.

Only niggles I see are the warp grilles, though. Like was pointed out

Stunning!

I am jealous! LOL

Keep up the good work!

Make one then.

Its just a REALLY small amount of pre paint work, a coat of flat white and an UNBELIEVABLE amount of patience applying the decals.

But, at the end of the day............. It is quite easy ;)

I've got one of these sitting in its box right now, got as far as decaling and gave up...me and decals dont get on too well!! the frustation of trying to get them to fit properly and match the contours of the surface just got the better of me!!

My hat's off to ya Dave, for sticking it out with them!

from the guy building that awesome "D", I shall take that as a huge compliment.
;D

Very nice work!! It may be pre-printed, but the patience it takes to apply wallpaper decals is almost as great a skill as painting the Aztecing by hand. 8)

Reminds me of why I like Star Wars ships: the markings are generally simple enough that I can throw a few strips of tape on the model, spray it, then weather the heck out of it (weathering -> Star Wars, Aztecing -> Star Trek)

As for what I did, mostly button up my X-wing to give to my niece.

I always loved Star Wars, but its not my "thing". I do on the other hand LOVE weathering, so I shall e attacking a Viper from Galactica at some point this year too!
