A few weeks ago I contacted Mike West of Lone Star Models asking about his resin cockpit for the T-28B Trojan.
I know he had one for the Monogram kit but to my surprise he was working on a new one for the Roden kit.
I mentioned I was/am working on building one and would love to buy one of his cockpits when it was ready.
Well to my surprise, this came in the mail today:
I had already acquired the True Details set for the kit since I had no idea how long before Mike's set would be ready.
I figured when it comes out I'll use it on my second kit.
I was all ready to start building when the set arrived today. I'm glad I didn't start the True Details set as Mike's set is far more detailed than the True Details set.

NOTE: this image was taken after I washed the parts to remove the mold release agent (hence the water droplets).
Lone Star Model's cockpit tub:
The Lone Star Models resin cockpit will definitely add that extra level of detail to the Roden T-28B.
