Just what I do NOT NEED, is to start another huge project but have had this one on my mind for over a year and collected a lot of stuff for it.






I decided to not open the doors on this one because the interior tub is integral to holding the dashboard and firewall, so I decided to leave the doors alone, which i usually cut open to see the detail on the inside but not this time, I did cut out the old seat to leave room for the seats from the Munster mobile, I like the looks of them for this project.

thinking of useing these bones as bed rails, may be to large thou will see...

Just a little update, had some time to do some more work on this, been dealing with a huge slump in building, hope that is over. Changed my idea on the bucket seats, they just were not doing it for me, going with this idea, kinda of hard to show it now till they are ready but they will have 3 pads on top and bottom and those wood looking things as a head rest. Also picked a layout for the cutout in the roof, and on the firewall adding some metal do dad to it for ornamentation.

do not like the stock custom wheels, seemed to large so taking the ones from the 62 pontiac or the 50 olds kit(which are the wheels below)..

finally got the roof cut out, will have to thin out the plastic to make it more realistic, also found this laser cut cardboard/paper was attached to an old greeting cards, thought it would look cool here...


my idea for a seat just add some beads between the slats...

what I have planned for the seats and those two wood things will be the head rests....

devised a way to model bamboo using a tubing cutter then sanding inbetween the knuckles...

using card stock from hobby lobby, not the pattern i wanted they do not have what I have in mind will try joann fabrics they have a better selection, using for door and back of cab covering...

decided to make a custom shaped visor, after cutting out the roof i liked the shape of the cut out but it was not wide enough, so i made a new one.

playing around with the idea of using bamboo as a bed rail....

I was in the supermarket the other day and seen these two hotwheels and they totally caught my eye, have several items planned for them, one is headlamps from the front of each hot wheel.

I really like the colors as well will look at using them for the overall color of the truck....

took a razor saw and removed the front of the hot wheel for the headlamp unit!

totally made a new visor for this build, have to thin it down a bit but like it....

These are gonna be the seats for the finished project, I really like them the slats are the bottom of seat the skull and cross bones are the seat back and the two wood beads will be the headrests....
