It's looking great, loving the texture of the track and sides. Trees are something I will have to get in to later but impressed with yours. I personally wouldn't cut them back as it looks great to see the tank hidden.

.... Leave them alone,and if you're not happy with them further on,THEN change it.
BTW,I love the way you've done the strata levels on the bank face... Nice
