Here is one of the kit I presented on my Presentation post. Since I didn't really elaborate about it l'est talk about this one. :D

It's the 1/72 transformable Valkyrie from Bandai (reedition from the 90's), a kit made by Imai in 1982. A friend of mine, who had a comics shop, had this model, but couldn't sell it : there was one essential sprue missing and another one in double. So as he knows I can do something about it he gaves it to me. :D

First of all I manage to find at last the "cockpit" in the battloid form. Another friend gave it to me. But I still had to scratch the wings, that I did with a thick plastic card. Didn't have to make it the complete one since it's in the back, so I carved as well as I can some panels (really not good at it) sand the edges, and painted it properly.
Then I had to find some feet. Didn't have enough parts to have two of them in a tranformable way so I took the ones from the Super Valkyrie Fighter 1/72, there's some parts unused to do the Gerwalk... It was the Chromed one, but it was easy to put it in place and sand the horrible seam.

The paint was a learning process since I used some spray cans from Tamiya, white and red. The decals are minimum, wouldn't have done this way now, but I was very poor on that matter at the time (10 years ago ?).
Another one is on his way, the Blue one, the Max's VF-1J, same model from Arii this time. All the sprues are here but it was poorly built and painted by an old friend of mine. He gaves it to me... But it's another Work In Progress story. :D
