During a recent move, I lost the front canopy for a 1/48 F-4G Wild Weasel model I commissioned when my book on the Weasels was published a while back.

I am hoping someone has a 1/48 front canopy and can paint the rails gray.

I, of course, will pay you for your time/labor, as well as send you a copy of my Weasel book if you'd like.

Help?

note: first attempt at posting this was deleted. I've since made 3 posts. Good to go now?

Hi, nope. Don't have the builder's info either. Was a long time ago.

Not looking for museum quality, I figure any 1/48 canopy would be close enough.

Thanks.

I don't find any aftermarket offerings .

You could contact Revell and say you need a sprue for this kit : https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-04962-phantom-fgr-2--1181822
Specifically sprue F , which all the clear canopy parts .
from the instructions link on that page , panel 9 : https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/8/2/2/1181822-60-instructions.pdf

or ,
buy a cheapo kit .
Ebay would be good .

It could fit perfectly . who knows .

Thank you for the research and tips.

I'm trying to 1) avoid having to get an aftermarket kit, then paint, brush, etc since I don't build and 2) have someone who knows what they are doing paint so it will go fairly well with existing model.

I may have to go aftermarket, but thought I'd take a shot here...

So, help anyone?

Someone here may very well be able to give you that turnkey service .
I expect some more responses for sure .
Those were just some other options if that doesn't pan out .
