War & Peace 2011

So its War & Peace this weekend, a huge military vehicle show in Kent (Southern England).

Just wondering if anyone has been before or is going. I have never been before but judging by the gallery from last years show I am in for a treat. Will be sure to take lots of photos so will upload anything unusual.

If anyone wants any obscure photos taken for reference post beneath and I shall do my best.

Hey Guys,

So went to my first War and Peace show, I felt like a kid in a toy store, was the best day I have had in a very long time. The amount of armour and the level of detail the owners provided was amazing. Thought I'd upload a few pics, I went with a friend and dragged the misses along too. Cant recommend it enough to those of you England way. I have put a youtube link to a video that captured the main re-enactment really well, it was deafening, we were right next to this camera man.

Awesome Last Days of WW2 Battle Re-enactment. " War and Peace Show England 2011 "









There were lots of opportunities to get your hands on the weaponry, all of the WW2 arsenal, lots of Vietnam era and modern weapons, including a 50.cal sniper, a real treat for us Brits.

By the last day some were feeling the strain.

Part of the incredible re-enactment.

Even my girlfriend had a good time.
