Weathering a Minichamps

I have a nice die cast 1/35 Minichamps T-34 sitting around all nice and clean. I have the irresistible urge to weather the crap out of it and keep it for a while. But will weathering it reduce the value of if/when I eventually post it on eBay? Thanks.

most likly. if you want to weather one it mabe better to buy a 1/35 kit build and do so

A couple of years back my wife gave me several Forces of Valor series 1/35 tanks, said she figured that would save me some spare/bench time (which I get VERY little of) since I wouldn't have to build or paint them. I put them on the shelf and after only a week I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled the M-109 SPG down, fired up the airbrush and dug out the weathering stuff. It looked way better after that! But, I must say, I had no intentions of selling them so re-sale value was not a consideration.
