Colours for WWII Japanese Tanks?

What is the closest Humbrol paints for a prewar WWII Japanese Cavalry Tank Type 92. The instructions, which are in Japanese, refer to some Mr Color paints I couldn't find on the internet, except for one of the four colours. C321, for which apparently Humbrol 71 was the correct match according to the single source I could find. The colours for the tank are C321 (Ochre), matched as Humbrol 71, C522 (Land Colour), C525 and C526, which are just referred to as Green and Brown. In addition there's a figure for which no colours are given at all, just numbers. The matches are according to the same source: C132 for the uniform (no match), C17 (116) for the helmet, C41 for the boots (160), and C45 (71 again) for the straps

I don't need 100% accuracy, I would like to use colours as close as I can get though. Any input or corrections and additions is welcome. A tad off topic, as it's not relevant for this tank, I found when trying to figure out the colours several sources claiming that the yellow stripes used on many Japanese tanks wasn't actually yellow, apparently more light greenish. I might add that according to some sources there were apparently some differences in colours used by the cavalry compared to the army

Unlikely to be off any help, most likely museum restoration paint scheme than being actual war or pre-war colors, but its all I got. This is in Tokyo 1986.

Thanks, it helps. Now if I only could find a conversion chart which matches Mr Hobby with Humbrol. I know acrylic paints are more fashionable right now, I'm sticking to the old Humbrol enamel. I can go as far as to mix paints, that's it though. I'm a casual modeller and can't be bothered with airbrushing, I use a brush and for me enamel works best for brushpainting

The color conversion topic has come up many times here but I must admit that I don't pay attention to it since I do everything by eye and I'm never attempting to attain historical accuracy .

If you have trouble finding the right paint then you're going to have to rely on the Mark one system

I have a Fine Molds Type 3 I made years ago. I can't remember how I figured out the colours, I suspect I to some extent at least just used whatever I thought looked Japanese tank to me. Pretty sure it isn't completely authentic, it looks good to me though. When you first start researching it's easy to go down the rabbit hole though

I thought as much, as there aren't too many Type 92s around, but I wasn't sure

Are the colours the instructions recommend, the same as for the Type 3? I ask because I built that a few years ago and had the recommended Mr. Hobby paint set available (but mostly didn't use it, as I found I don't get along with these paints).

I wouldn't know, the instructions for the Type 3 were discarded after I finished the kit. The Type 3 has a three colour scheme though, and is at the other end of the war from the Type 92. I have never tried Mr Hobby, I just never find good matches for Humbrol for it, that's why I have developed a dislike for Mr Hobby
