I come from a family heritage of the United States Marines. Now I run a tree farm, and build plastic and RC models in my free time. My days of "Pick up a rifle and guard that wall"... is over for me on a bigger scale. But I do miss it sometimes. The golden years has it's benefits. But I miss the belonging to a higher purpose.
