About to start my next project 1967 Shelby. The model is a GT 350 but I am going to be modeling it off of an anime called Gunsmith Cats which is a 1967 GT 500 Shelby. Now on to research.

Parts of the interior, engine compartment, and the undercarriage is painted and ready for assembly. I'll probably do that on Friday. I gotta go earn a living tomorrow to support my model habit.

Grumble time. Took me forever to get these pieces primed. I use rattle cans and have to use 'em outside along with airbrushing and the wind was brutal today. The place I'm living right now is too small for a model room or paint booth.

Thanks. I got a bit more done before I went to work but I'm gonna post the pix tomorrow. The interior is almost done just the dashboard left to put in after paint.

Got more of it done. Now I'm ready to paint the body, but I need to wait until the weather clears up. Its raining here.
Tires and dash are done. Got the dash mounted to finish the interior and maybe some paint touch ups. I'll post pictures of the completed model when I can finish (due to the weather).

Thanks. I just got done sanding and priming the body. Had a lot of fit issues with the front but they are all straightened out now. I'll post some some more pictures after I get the body painted. I found another area or two that I missed with the initial sanding and putty. It seems like there is always an area that is missed :).

Just an update. I finally managed to put on the first coat of paint. Found a couple of issues but easily fixed. Once the paint is finished all I have to do is put the wheels, headlights, and bumpers on then it'll be done and I'll post a picture or two.

All done. Finished it last night before I went to bed. I do not like the way the Le Mans stripe decals came out. I think the next time I do them I will be painting them on. I had a lot of problems with the placement and there were areas that the decals broke when I placed them, but over all I do like the model and the way it looks.

It looks very good. In the photos I can't see anything wrong with the decals ... Good job :)
