I finished the Gremlin I was working on. I decided to make it fairly trashed in the process of being restored.

Got a new camera and a light box to see if that improved the photo quality, I think the answer is a yes although some of them still look slightly out of focus to me.

Thanks.

I watched Night Shift on youtube to learn the basics of rust effects but this was the first model I've tried it on. I know I can do better, and I will next time.
 
This looks awesome! Fantastic job on the paint.

A little trick I picked up from youtube for the chrome bits like the bumper and wheels, is to load your AB with rust colors push the action down to let paint flow for a second or two (no air flow here), then release the action and flick the action back a little at a time to purposefully throw little dots of rust on top of the chrome.
It replicates surface rusting of Chrome pretty well, and is a quick little detail to add.
