Finally finished the panzer II with winter camo and snow added. Very happy with it and had fun with new techniques so have learnt a fair bit. I have posted photos from start to finish as I may have confused a few members by getting my Panzers and Panthers mixed up. Hope you like, feel free to comment or criticise as all welcome.

So what all did you use ?
Like what was used atop the original , base paintwork and then what did you use for snow ?

All vallejo paint, panzer dark grey with white for camo. A few vallejo dark rust bits weathered with black oil thinned right down. Snow was 50/50 pva / water sprayed on with mini hand spray bottle, then white tile grout through a tea strainer. Final spray of water to set it.

I like this. I'm really trying to get up the stones to take on an armor project.
For a first try at armour this tamiya panzer II is really good, fairly easy build, not too much flash and filling, easy track and not expensive. I will probably get a couple more of these as a second build while doing something more challenging.

This came out great, nice choice for the snow too. I'm liking the contrast between the dirty wheels and the snow.

Yep..great snow, really looks the part. Small dio with a dead tree, lots of snow and a slushy road would be ideal. Great job my friend.
