Hi fellow modelers, thought I would have a go at a second hand model that a friend had started and gave up on.
He didn't like the wheels and track, started a few other bits then just piled it all up in the box.
I had some trouble sorting the wheels as think he used some kind of industrial strength super glue. Managed to get them cleaned up, primed and resprayed.
I will post updates as I go.

Looking good, but will you be able to see the interior detail once the model is complete?

I am going to have one of the engine covers open and the top of the hull open but you won't see very much. The thing is that I know it's done so all the more satisfying.

True and fair enough. I did the interior of a Stug III a few models back. Spent a lot of time on it and it looked pretty good. Trouble is when the kit was finished it hid most of my work even with the entry hatches open. Subsequently, I now don't purchase kits with full interior. Just a personal thing really.

This was a kit given to me by a friend so it's a pleasure build as I am going to give it back to him in a diorama for his grandson. He doesn't know so hoping it will be a pleasant surprise if I can do it justice.

Done the first of the internal washes and trying to sort out the tracks, they are a nightmare to build and fit.

I was going to mention something similar Urumomo....
Pantherman, the interior is looking good. I am so glad it is you doing those tracks and not me. I know they don't generally look as good, but give me rubber band tracks any day.

I guess you are indeed Pantherman with claws like that , lol
Story to tell. I used to chew my nails (stress thing) almost to the knuckle but I realised that I needed longer CLAWS to get those tiny fiddling bit's of kit in the right place. Also my modeling has virtually got me stress free so win win for Pantherman.
I'm waiting for a certain fellow member friend to suggest that the CLAWS should be pink. Ha,ha.

Well the tracks are done but not that happy with them, will have to revisit them later. Got a few more part's built and primed and started the figure so not a bad weekends work.
Wife is moaning so I have to stop "playing around with kid's stuff " and do some DIY on the house!! Oh how the single life beckons!!

Looking good :),
This exact same kit is the very first one that i built on returning to the hobby about 9 years ago,(although i did use the rubber band tracks),it`s an "Oldie, but a Goodie" IMHO.....
..... I look forward to following your progress.......once you`ve sorted Wifey out of course!!

A little more building done. Think I will finish the priming and do some shading then carry on with the rest of the main build.
Just trying something different to see if the finished model looks any better.
