This kit is really old and the fit isn't that great. The instructions are poor at best, nothing seems to want to locate in the position shown. Some parts just seem to go where they fit best with no guides, holes, lines or anything. Really struggling with the main control panel as it just seems to hang in the cockpit.
Might have to close the canopy which is a shame as I have spent a long time on the controls and seats.....Pantherman

Well I may have to retract some of my previous post as the fuselage went together almost perfectly with no filler, just a bit of sanding on the seem.

The other parts fitted to the fuselage have also been very good with just a tiny bit of filler and a light sanding. Pantherman

A little more progress and managed to get the outside xmas lights up. Pantherman
