Got the build done with just the canopy to sort out. She's almost ready for a couple of fine gloss white top coats then the final clear gloss finish.

Then touching in anything I missed, decals, some panel line's and finish coat to seal it.

Will need to refit that, fit the canopy and generally tidy up the nose section which is looking a bit rough. Might try some Humbrol Clearfix to fill out the side cockpit windows. Some panel lines in grey as suggested.

Then finally the decals, looking forward to that bit. Anyway, some photos to comment on for now.

Well it's finished and my friend was really happy so I'm pleased. Not exactly how I would have finished the old girl but it was how he asked for it.

Would have preferred a more shiny finish so if anyone has some input for future builds that would be great. I gave her 2 coats of gloss white and 2 coats of gloss varnish!!
