The reason I brought this up was because the first thing I saw in instructions was heating the sprue to get rigging anchors.

The radial engine and rocker arms should be black, center hub a dull aluminum or steel.

It's really not all that hard if you go slow and one section at a time. I'm currently rigging a 1/72 scale biplane.

On the video I saw (in 3 parts) he did not use those. I'm going to string it through then drop a dab of super glue to hold it in place.

I like how the paint made the wood look worn.
The seat is now green. The pilot requested a green cushion.
I also got the instrument panel done.

Im ready to assemble but I'm waiting for my paint to get here. Amazon stated it's running late.

I might change the brass front pipework back to chrome as most of the photos I have looked at shows them this way. Pantherman

Just getting started on this. The mounting post for foot pedals broke. That's why it's so low to the floor.
I'm going to try to do some wood grain so we'll see what happens.

Ok, for the rigging, I have a suggestion from Columbus Models, from YouTube.

"My advice, use one continuous line for as much as possible, and super glue every time it touches a brace or whatever, keeps everything tought and easy to manage."

My build might be sporadic since my wife wants to decorate the house for Christmas.

One holiday at a time! We just had Halloween, and Thanksgiving is coming up and you want to put Christmas decorations up?

"Christmas makes me happy." She said
I responded with – " fair enough..."

Motto – Happy wife, happy life.

That's exactly what I did. I just ca glued it in place, didn't bother with the stretched sprue as the instructions. Pantherman
