So I have done the top and side decals and have decided to try put the undercarriage back together. So I have sprayed a gloss coat just to seal the paintwork up ready for decals.
Also masked and sprayed the yellow wing leading edges, decided to go with a yellow earth rather than bright yellow as think it just looks better.
Masked and sprayed the canopy. My friend gave me a big box of all his odd bits in and managed to find a 1/24 canopy that is very similar to the typhoon luckily.
Will have to scratch build the front and top canopies, also the doors.

Thank you. PanthermanDefinitely an improvement
Got a fair bit done on the rebuild. I was extremely fortunate that a friend who has terrible eye sight and only builds 1/24 gave me a large box of everything he had left over, it was like aladins cave.So I have done the top and side decals and have decided to try put the undercarriage back together.
Had to drill and pin both of them and also add a little bit which must have melted with the rest.
I will add the missing supports and covers when the CA sets. PanthermanView attachment 110152View attachment 110153View attachment 110154View attachment 110155View attachment 110156View attachment 110157
Thanks, I'm really pleased with it so far. PanthermanYou have done a great job on cleaning ot up.
I really want all the fine details to show and would welcome any advice on how to do it.Got a fair bit done on the rebuild. I was extremely fortunate that a friend who has terrible eye sight and only builds 1/24 gave me a large box of everything he had left over, it was like aladins cave.
I have tried to keep the build as true to what it should be but you will have to forgive any errors.
Got the main bottom decals to do and the bombs. After that is the little decals all over and then the biggest challenge of scratch building the door and canopy. Pantherman

So I have finished the underneath of the beast. Now going to fit all the little decals on the top of the wings and side's of the fuselage. PanthermanGot a fair bit done on the rebuild. Definitely worth it. Avoid the after market parts as you really don't need them. PanthermanThis upgrade looks glorious.
When/if I can see the bottom of my stash, I should get me a 1:24 Typhoon kit.
So I'm almost done with the rebuild. Final bit's will be the scratch built door's and canopy. So I have finished the underneath of the beast. Now going to fit all the little decals on the top of the wings and side's of the fuselage. Pantherman
