ok I got the base scheme down. It is a weird (but fun!) one, where there are two tones for grey, and a couple spots where the guide says to "paint sloppy" basically.

and the sticky-out bits are painted, so time to weather and put it together

I originally painted the roundels, but the red was so far off from the other decals, I decided to put the decals on over the roundels.

Ok-ish. I am going to do another coating of micro sol in the morning.

Solvaset is my go to. Its rather strong and you have to be careful with it, but it gets stuff to settle right in.

What kinda paint do you recommend Solvaset on? Or any paint types you wouldn't use it on?

I have used it on all paints. I dont use acrylics much, so if there is one of them out there that doesnt like it, I dont know. But certainly enamels and lacquers are just fine with it.
