Here's a couple pictures I took real quick. I still got to do the canopy and paint the pilot and a couple odds and ends but basically done. I got real tired of putting on a million decals. Plus all I build mainly is airplanes and I told myself as I'm building this why do I put myself through this torture? I told myself I love building models so why don't we build something new? Something I've never built before. So I went to Hobby Bench and bought Shirley muldowney's funny car and drove to Andy's hobby headquarters 2 miles away and yeah guys I went and did it. I bought a tank. I hope it's a good one. Andy said if you're going for a tank get either Tamia or Takom. He says you can try Trumpetter but they always have a Million Parts. I'm welcome to any suggestions on how to build this thing. And yes, I know I could have got online and possibly bought them cheaper but I like supporting local business.

Oh, by the way. I was in the store looking at the Revell p61. It did indeed cross my mind to buy it but one guy walking around said don't get that kit I said why not? He says you'll end up taking a freaking Hammer to it. And I just had to laugh and told him all about the Flakhammer!

I'm just a very happy old man to see your bare feet in those pictures. Not joking at all!

I think your F-35 is badass, and I just tapped out on applying 100+ tiny little decals to my Corsair. I'm sure there's someone who really joneses on that, and as a southerner I can say "God Bless Them".

Thank you edbert! I surely do appreciate it. The amount of time that went into this plane was astounding. And hundreds of decals not to mention masking off the whole plane with over 200 little pieces of tape. But pictures don't do it justice. Tamia does have a excellent kit. If that little part doesn't fit in and you're starting to get exasperated just give it a minute take a deep breath because eventually it will click right into place, practically without glue. And I have a German Shepherd puppy and he ate my shoes so my wife asked me if I wanted another pair of shoes and I said nope, it's summer, I got a pair of flip-flops, I'm good

Well done on that model, looks great .
I hear ya on the decals, years ago I did a Revel 1 / 32 ME 262 B-1/U-1 nightfighter. It came with ton of little decals. I save everything from past builds that I don't use, and just today I repurposed some of them on the radio racks for my current 1/16 Stug III , 17172090420282792927512898992861.jpg
The white and yellow rectangles.
