Battlestar Galactica 3D print

Could you take a side-profile picture of the bridge for me, please? I want to see if it angles downward or if it sits straight. Thanks.

here are screenshots from the STL files.

Thank you! So it does angle down! We were discussing the bridge in this thread on here and I was wondering why the 3D printed bridge replacement piece from Shapeways has the bridge pointed down like that.

Incidentally, I came across your YT channel maybe a half a year ago or whenever you had about 200 subscribers. I love the content. I, too, did not care for the reboot series and I was hoping for the show to have more of a neo-retro look to it, much like how Trek manages to do most of the time (like when DS9 redid the TOS Tribbles episode). When I was a kid, I wanted a brown Colonial Warrior's jacket so badly. The re-imagined Cylon ships look like car hood ornaments and turning them into androids felt cheap to me. My friend says, "Well, there is an episode that pays homage to BSG TOS with the old-style Cylons..." Yeah, I don't care! I wanted the whole show to be comfy.

Anyhow, I appreciate your channel.

It's a beautiful model - not quite as accurate but a lot less cheaper to make than the Mike Salvo resin cast kit (I think that's the bridge upgrade you were checking out on Shapeways - I know that designer).

My show was launched last month on Rumble - I think you're thinking of Battlestar Collectica on YouTube - its a great channel that talks about BSG specific toys and collectibles.

My show BattleScale Collectica covers more general model, custom figures & 3D prints, and I interview designers and modelers. We also feature a viewer showcase each episode:

Hope you check it out!

By Friday afternoon, I had decided to watch your videos over the weekend. Now the weekend has gone by, and I still haven't watched them. Nuts. Maybe this evening. I have an account on Rumble, but mentally I only associate it with socio-political commentary. I know that there is other content, but it seems that 99% of the content there is such. Do you have to pay Rumble to upload? What I don't like about Rumble is their notification system.

I rather prefer Odysee as a YouTube alternative because it has more of range of content, but they also have issues to resolve in order to improve. For one thing, their meta tags are completely useless. The search tool ONLY considers video titles. I recently contacted them about this, and they said they will address this with Odysee 2.0 when it launches.

Hi Steve not Steve. I appreciate you stopping by the channel and leaving a comment. Rumble has some advantages and disadvantages compared to YT...the biggest being it's banned in most Communist & Socialist GVT'S. It's free to host content, but you also won't make much (if any) streaming residuals. There are many great modeler channels on YT (you've got some great content too), but it's a personal decision not to post my content there or on FB.

Don't forget to email me a pic of one of your builds to enter the raffle for the Galactica! :)
