I think it's a typical car kit for beginners. The body is pretty nice. This is just first coat after primer I have to wet sand this and then paint her again. Nothing fancy. It's just basically the outline I like. I think trying to detail these things up is going to be a waste of time. That's just me. Otto came driving up and said would you like me to put a round through this mess? Naturally I declined. And I told him if your tank gets captured? I will haul it with my next build. Tamia's 40-ton tank hauler. I should be getting that Friday and I think that's going to be a fun build. Happy 4th to all. Be safe. FNG

Airbrushed the other tone for the two-tone body. Gloss black. Man that's a hard color to work with if you're putting it on a shiny car. Tomorrow I'll mask off for all the chrome trim. I use model master Chrome silver enamel paint. My God that is some great stuff for Chrome. I'm going to be sorry to see the last of it go cuz I don't think they're going to be making it anymore. And I still have about six or seven bottles of their buffing metalizers. Aluminum plate and magnesium, and steel to name a few. I thought they worked great I don't know why they're getting rid of it unless it's climate change bullshit

Hey everyone. I got the dragon wagon staring at me in the face saying build me build me. But I gotz to see "Black Momba" come to life first. At least I'd like the name of black mamba but I don't know how to make decals. So this is just X1 body color and model master Chrome silver for the trim. It's getting there.

Ts-13 for clear. Decals tomorrow. Then I'll touch up the trim and paint the lights and set it on the shelf so I can look at it. Then it'll gather dust and I'll wash it off and stick it in the box it came in and stick it up on top of a shelf. My son will find it in 20 years, if this country is still here, and go oh wow look at this that's cool. And then he'll start building models.

Oh man, I forgot to paint behind the front wheel the brake drum or whatever that is. Oops. My bad.

I think I only need two things and it will look authentic. I'd like a set of scale fuzzy dice and hanging off the back bumper I want a big hairy scrotum sack oh and one more thing. A bumper sticker that says _ss, Cash or Gas....

Love the chrome strips. Nice work

Thank you. This is my fifth model so far after taking this hobby back up. All the little things I'm learning so far. This is an amazing Hobby but I can't help but think of the models I built as a kid with that awful glue in the tube and those stupid testers paint brushes. Now I know why a lot of my models got blown up in the backyard by firecrackers. Mr Boom? Meet the Flackhammer

Thanks guys. Y'all are lucky I don't put my models together with my feet. I have to put an extension on my nail clippers so I can get the Leverage to hack through my toenail
