First attempt at character creation

This idea started out as creating a mounted character on the front of my pirate ship (not sure what the tech name for it is)

But then i realized the only characters i have to start with are 2x too big, i have 3 in char and i need 1.5 in max. So that idea was a bust.

So then i decided i would continue the creation for practice. This is what a ended up with. I was going to paint spine and ribs but my hands are too shacky for that.

Green sea plant spikes are painted rubberband slices. Paint even with primer does not stick too well to rubberbands.
