Having ditched the Marder completely I've decided that I still want to do a building front.
Taking a picture frame with a boarder will give me a 7 " x 5 " working area. Big enough for a normal two story building with a roof line.
At the moment I have stuck some foam insulation together , but course the thickness is too great to cut with my cutter. Tomorrow it's out with the kappa line foam board and cut some to size .
Hopefully I will get some photos loaded tomorrow as well
Hope you can join .

Success in cutting out the foam board as its 5 mm thick , means I can use my FoamWorks Tools . Using a cheaper 5 mm backing today cut out and glued some attachments to the facade. The added parts are from blue foam insulation sheet. The main body Kappa Line.

The hinges this time were from the plastic card after it was trimmed, might add some bolts later. The allowance around the doors in for a subframe .
Thanks for looking in.
John.

Hi everyone, today spent marking out the bricks and putting filler on the the plain walls. Used normal wall filler with a little addition of pva glue to assist in holding.

The base has been altered by 5mm to take a line of stone sets.

This will be glued on later, leaving off now so I can get the doors and side frames in.

I dry brushed the brick faces with a thinned Tamiya grey filler , used Real colour thinners by AK. Worked far better than IPA .This will harden and seal the the foam so less brick colour will be absorbed.

Siad filler , cheap DIY shop brand. Once dry some sanding with a fine paper , 600 grit stuck onto a coffee stirrer seems to work.

Thanks for following and looking in. John.
