If it's worth it or not really depends on how much you're willing to spend, and IMHO if they will remain visible or not after you close up the fuselage. Quite likely, given how much you can see inside, you can probably just make your own from something like masking tape stuck to the seats with superglue and then painted.

Okay Thanks. I think I'm willing to spend the money IF I decide to use the seats.

I messed up majorly. The pilots seat is glued in the wrong angle. Is there a way to UNglue it and reseat it? LOL @ reseat a seat...

If you didn't use too much solvent you might be able to just pull it loose -- tug hard .
If it won't budge , you can get some solvent down in the joint with a brush and it will dissolve the joint .
wet the joint with the thin cement and then wiggle it free .

Is brush cleaner 'solvent'?

from the instructions it appears you will be able to easily apply that Mr Cement to the joint ,

you can probably just pull it free without dosing the joint with that solvent cement , but I have no idea how good a weld exists .

WOW! I got it!!! YAY Thanks Urumomo Check it out I was able to reseat the seat! YAY! I always dip the cement brush several times. I ended up breaking the posts off the seat back that poke down through the floor but I finally got the seat loose. This seems like a good Cement.

Maybe I shouldn't try it? What I'm talking about is the red folding canvas seats. (I will include a picture.) I'm not talking about the PE that comes with the CH-47A 'Chinook' model. I'm talking about aftermarket PE.

I feel like I'm missing something... I guess I will just do what everyone else is doing and painting Part A17 black. It looks like people are also painting A11, A10, everything but Part A8 and the floor black...

I didn't want to try using the film underneath the L1 part and now I wish I had used it. I don't think I can get underneath the clear plastic L1 part. I used the colors that the Instructions said. (except for
black)

I accidently got a tiny drop of Aircraft grey on the fire hydrant and I think it looks used. (Not that we would want a USED Fire Hydrant on our 'Chinook')

Next up after pilots I want to bump this picture up. Is there a video somewhere that shows how to install the red canvas seats? Maybe a tutorial? I want to spent the money but I want to make sure I can do it. It' says "For Advanced Modelers" but there has got to be SOME support Somewheres.

Sorry, I'm not the one to have an answer to that question — I've never built a Chinook in any scale, let alone used any detailling parts for one.
