I am just getting the tools and materials together for this project.
This will be a vehicle recovery scene. I'm still working out details on what I want to do.
I have some static grass, leaf scatter, shrubs, and waiting for some trees.
Also picked up a hot wire foam cutter and a razor saw.
I received my HydroStone and SculptaMold today.
More to follow as this project gets underway.

This is the direction I am going with this scene. I am hoping I can fit it all in.

Other than the Jeep probably not being there because it's likely the M8 might hit (and wreck) it, it looks plausible enough to me.

Oh, BTW, the left-hand track of the M32B1 is on the wrong way round :)

That is going to be epic. Another trick to add to the ground work supplies is loose black tea . Lightly scattered it resembles smaller dead fall from trees and other vegetation

The overall effect looks well thought out . Just a few questions , are you adding more figures ? What are your plans for vegetation ? Is there going to be water in the ravine and will there be a bridge ?
You have the basis of a truly epic story here , I'll be watching this for sure . Please keep sharing .

The ravine will be a river. The M8 will be crashing on and over a bridge. Figures are planned. And rock faces in ravine and a scatter of some rocks. Static grass, shrubs, and trees will be added.
I may or may not incorporate the jeep.
Oh and I will fix the left track on the recovery vehicle that Jakko so kindly pointed out.

I will fix the left track on the recovery vehicle
It was not impossible for tracks to be on backwards, or even only one like you have here. It's mainly that this is a recovery vehicle, with a crew who probably put tracks (back) on tanks a lot more than other soldiers did, which would make it rather less likely here :)

Ha! A mishap to the jeep would be an interesting twist, a couple of figures standing by with W.T.F. expressions to the recovery crew......

I like the concept, can't wait to see the progression.

I received my box from Woodland Scenics. I can start putting this diorama together.

I'm still waiting on a couple of figures. There is going to be a surprise in this scene.

I have had to make a change in plans. The board I made is too small to accommodate the M32B1 ARV. I will be making a different diorama. It will feature the M8 and the Jeep, along with some figures.
