Weathering, for me, is a lot of fun.Hey Gary
Thanks so much for noticing. I really tried to use all my weathering tricks to make the model look like a really worn bird.
All the best

Thank you so much. Really appreciate your kind words.Aside from the direction of the decals, which has already been pointed out, this is a very well built and weathered P-47 Gary and you are well ahead of me on your weathering skills. Well built and photographed Razorback bud. View attachment 130366
I had a 1/72 from Academy "Black Cat"Wow !!!!!I have been thinking about doing a PBY Catalina over the past 2 days. I found a 1/72 version by Academy. I would love to know what model you did and if you would be willing to share with me your version. I just love the Cat. It was such an unsung hero of WWII
Gary
Thanks!Gary
Really sweet build. This is the same kit I was eyeing, and thinking of doing it in the routine or normal Navy colors of the Pacific, blue gray top and light gray bottom. Thanks for sharing
Simply incredible! The attention to details even the smallest details do not go unnoticed.Good morning Gary
