Thanks. It is a nice kit. Colours might not be correct as using my vallejo to get close but as long as it's close enough that will do for me. Didn't like the black wing mirrors so fitted them early and sprayed them red. PanthermanThis is a very nice kit. I really enjoyed building it. I love what you have going so far.
Thanks, I will try to remember. PMFYI. Some trouble areas I had were installing the grips and the steering rod (very delicate). Patience is the key here

Moving on now. Got another coat of gunmetal in a few spots plus missed a bit of the spring. PanthermanHaving seen an excellent recent built by Tim I was inspired to have a go as never built a bike before. Pantherman

Thank you for your kind comments, very much appreciated. I do like the way this is coming together so I might have to get another to keep it company on the shelf. PanthermanI am glad to see you build a bike Pantherman. Anything you build is wonderful to see. I look forward to see the finished product. I am currently working on a Tamiya Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Motorcycles have become my favorite subject to build.

Many thanks. PMSo far Superb!
Have a question for you Tim. Did you have the "T" section for the front brake pipe in your kit or did you make one? PMFYI. Some trouble areas I had were installing the grips and the steering rod (very delicate). Patience is the key here

That is looking really nice. Great work
Lookin' good. One suggestion: The phillips head screws are always a distraction on these 1/12 Tamiya kits. (No 1/1 bike is held together with screws.) These can be replaced with the appropriate diameter of AL tube. Then top with an after market scale fastener.

The tubes work great. Glued properly they are sturdy and the front fork will still swivel.
