    I've always used brake fluid to remove paint - generally works quite well.

    I've been modeling since the mid-60's and never washed a model yet (outside of something I removed paint from) - never had any problems - use a good primer and you'll be fine/

    I believe the Level numbers on Revell kits are more indicative of the number of parts than any particular detail. There are a lot of "Level 5" 2in1 kits in their line - the level 5 means extra parts for the 2 types of build.

    I get it - your brain never really gets the idea that "can't do that any more". I renovated a 100 year old Victorian in Louisville 25 years ago - can't imagine how I could do that now.
