This is a great topic and one I have pondered myself. I usually get to the weathering stage and get antsy to move on to my next project. It's not uncommon to have two kits going at the same time. I also have a "Shelf of Shame". Kits that I have screwed up and waved the surrender flag on...

Eric sums it up well . . ..the joy is in the build. "They all end up in the trash one day. The Joy is in the build, the challenge, and a beautiful completion for Yourself. Then years later it fades to yesterday."

I have been thinking about this dilemma also . . . I make sure I take several photos of everything I have made. I have not tossed anything away yet but I know that day is coming.
