No… if you're going to remove chrome plating altogether. SuperClean strips chrome off not wash it. No special instruction in handling chrome parts ona model car or truck. Scrape area where glue needs to be when gluing in place - ie: bumpers. Glue don’t adhere well with chrome plating

No…. DON’T add salt / sand into the paint bottle!!!!! Salt (or salt method) can be used as weathering. Most commonly on aircraft and armor kits. Even to create a rusted out beat up car or truck. Here’s a good tutorial video:

Agreed on every single point mentioned above.

Any paint spray can will give off fumes. There's no escaping it. After spray while drying, not as bad but it usually disappears fairly quick.

Easier if you mask the canopy (do your own or buy masks) and glue them on the aircraft. I always install my masked canopy onto the fuselage prior to airbrushing. Leave the masks on until after you’ve finished decal session and the final flat clearcoat is applied.

Any vintage kit is gonna be pricy for your taste - especially unbuilt and in sealed box. No surprise on the eBay link. I’ve been looking for these for years…. They’re either hard to find and/or the seller is asking for stupid money for them...

A very sharp blade is a must. I like the Z-series blades. Walmart usually has them but my local Walmart hasn’t stocked them in awhile.
