1/200 USS IOWA

Some nice painting there nice an straight as ive seen some guys had paint the waterline with out any maskin tape an it was a bit wobbly but yours looks great

I have the basic hull colors done. I followed the pics in my reference book for the camo.
"Starting in January 1944, a dazzle camouflage Measure 32 Design 1B was applied. Iowa was the only ship to ever wear this pattern. ......Some edges were feathered, a blurred colour's border being very unusual in the US Navy."
Around mid 1944 the blurred edges were abandoned.
So my USS IOWA will represent the ship as it was during its support of the carriers of Task Force 58 in the Marshall Islands....... to the best of my ability.
I have some overspray which I think will disappear with some washes and light weathering. 1740520194701248038431795797842.jpg
