Okay guys,
So since we are moving on Friday I had packed up the man cave and neatly packed my stash in boxes etc. Well since neither my wife nor I are working we were both going a little stir crazy in the house. We have already done all of the touristy things we wanted to do before leaving southern California so we have just been sitting at the house. So today I said "screw it, I'm opening a kit!" So here we go.
Here is the kit! I did a little review in the review section.
Here is my work bench...
Beginning of the platform.
The kit gives you the option to display this in transport or combat mode. This is a pic of how the stakes are stored when transporting. Great detail included in this kit.
Here are the hooks used to attach the gun to the trailer.
Another detail shot.
Here is the base. Yup, that is 19 little pieces of P.E. glued on there.
On to the next sub assembly.
Next it is on to the cannon itself. The kit came with a single, that is right, a single barrel. Meaning I did not have to glue two pieces of plastic together. I did do a little light seam sanding though. Def not bad at all!
Continued work on the gun itself. Check out the details!
And that leaves me in the middle of page eight! Only 22.5 more pages to go.
Thanks for checking this out.
