I know right, so many small parts! My goal is to get construction done by this weekend so I can start the painting process. I heard there's a guy just north of me who really like's to paint and weather, I am tempted just to leave it on his doorstep with a note. "Paint Me"
LOL now who might that be............. ...Watch out for him, he might wreck it and add some rust to it.
This gonna be a cool model when done.
Power building tonight....sounds good Adam. I spent about an hour at the bench and hope for more later. Having a blast with the RSO at the moment. Pics on my site .
Hey Scratch, thanks for the vote of confidence! I really hope I don't mess it up too bad. Hahaha. I am about to go check out your RSO, I'm sure it's coming out great!
In terms of building tonight I got the rest of the work on the trailers done:
Then I got to working on the wheels, they are only temporarily in place for now:
I then put the gun on the trailer to see how it looks:
Then I got around to starting work on the shields:
It was at this point that the P.E. parts started to get a little blurry and I had to call it a night.
Good call when the eyes and the head get tired to take a break! Really nice work my friend! Clean!!! Enjoy the rest!!! Getting close to some of the wet colored stuff!!! ;D
Man that does look sweet with the gun done and on the trailer. Some nice end of the war colors would look very cool....bare metal, Red Primer, a bit of Yellow camo stripes..............oh yeah getting some cool ideas for that baby
Light it on fire.... Hmmm, is that a new weathering technique??? Someone should write an article and put it in the new SMA magazine. At least we know the article would be printed correctly. hahaha
Ya, I hate to say it but I'm done buying kits... My stash is too full and the prices at the show were too good. I'm glad I only bought one this weekend. I'm sure my wife will like it too!
