Hey all
Well after a small hiatus from a long hiatus I have dug up one of my kits, which unbeknownst to me had survived my recent transient lifestyle in the boot of my car ::)
It is the Dragon Premium kit 6325, which was upgraded (from memory) with a turned aluminium barrel and DS tracks.
I surprised myself with how much work I had actually put into this thing to get it accurate. Bear in mind I haven't touched a kit in over two years; amazed at how much I had forgotten...
These few pics will show the resin AM stuff (Formations) and scratchbuilt parts.
I based it on a photo of a disabled M4 which had run over an anti-personnel mine in Normandy. This was the first variant of the upgunned 76mm M4A3 with 'wet' ammunition stowage.

Sorry I am trying to juggle my photo sizing versus what I can fit per post...

Recreation of the bogey damage. A bogey arm had been twisted on the central assembly, and a tyre has been shredded/melted in part on the first. I will have the track severed also.

Aber etch had been used, as well as scratchbuilt components such as the aerial.
I used putty to add some casting 'scars'.

I've been seeing great results from using putty to give that cast look. Must try that out some day.

Keep up the good work :)
